It’s hard to know where to begin! Here are a few suggestions…

1. Grab your rucksack and take off to explore the National Park.
2. Go for a swim at Playa de Borizu.
3. Gaze at the view and get lost in reverie.
2. Linger over breakfast on the terrace in summer, enjoy dinner by the fire in winter.
5. Pour yourself a bit of cider.
6. Taste the delicious regional stew, “fabada asturiana”.
7. Snake along the winding roads of Cabrales, by car…or by bike!
8. Admire the mysterious ruins at Santa María de Tina.
9. Do it with a guide (hike, climb, surf, culture).
And, when the day is done, relax on your private terrace with breath-taking views

Walking Routes

Get to know the Picos up close and personal. Or trek along the fabulous Green Coast. There are millions of hikes to do, the toughest part will be choosing one! You'll marvel at the lush valleys and soaring spires, explore woodlands and streams right outside your front door, hike up into the National Park and stroll along cliff-tops and quiet coves by the sea.

A Taste of Asturias
Some say the best way to learn about a place is by tasting the local cuisine. A marvellous endeavor! Discover artisan products made in Asturias and identify the different Designations of Origin. The Picos de Europa are one of UNESCO's Biosphere Reserves, "places that provide local solutions to global challenges". In this fascinating world of karst, humans have been the sculptors for centuries, shaping a giant garden which covers 600 square kilometres.
