¿Uno es de dónde nace? We were both raised in sunny climes and are now happily lost in Asturias and the lush greenery of the Picos de Europa. Carlos grew up in Seville. Barbra is from California. In the early 90’s we migrated north to make our home in Green Spain.

¿O es uno de dónde pace? So now we “graze” in Cabrales, a place of flower-filled meadows, tasty blue cheese, soaring summits and gorgeous gorges. Home to Urriellu Peak and the Picos National Park. Land of ancient cave art found at Covaciella, a Unesco world heritage site. We are happy here, between the mountains and the sea, close to snowy summits and sandy coves.

This unique setting is our home and we invite you to make it yours: at Jascal, five “casitas” situated in a peaceful neighbourhood. An idyllic spot, surrounded by mysterious woodlands and impressive peaks, just half an hour from the highest village in Picos, half an hour from the lovely beaches of the “Costa Verde”.
